About Amin
Amin is a money tracker for people who like to know where their money goes, without handing their finances to anyone.
Why it exists
Most money apps want an account, a subscription, or access to your bank. Amin wants none of these. You note what comes in and goes out, in a few taps, and Amin turns it into daily lists, monthly totals, budgets and stats. The name means trustworthy, the one you leave your money with; that is the promise the app tries to keep.
What it believes
- Your data is yours. It lives on your devices and, if you choose, in your own Google Drive. There is no Amin server.
- Offline first. Everything works without internet; sync catches up when it can.
- No ads, no tracking. Nothing watches what you enter or sells your attention.
- Calm and quick. An entry should take seconds, and the screens should tell you the truth plainly.
What it does
Daily entries with categories, accounts, tags, notes, photos and receipts; repeats and installments; budgets; loans with reminders; every currency with daily exchange rates; bank notifications turned into drafts you approve (Android); a spreadsheet view on a computer; weekly backups in your Drive; and import from a Money Manager backup or an Excel sheet. See all features.
Where to get it
Amin runs in any browser at app.amin.zaidshaikh.com, and on Android, where it is in early access: download the app. It updates itself and will come to Google Play.
Who makes it
Amin is made by Zaid Shaikh, as an independent project. Suggestions and problems are welcome through More › Feedback in the app.
